APPOINTMENT OPTIONS WITH OUR VET
ANNUAL WELLNESS EXAM
$100
This is the annual exam for established clients to maintain a valid Veterinary-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) which allows our clinic to provide you with virtual appointments, technician appointments, outpatient services, and prescription refills. This is an appointment with one of our veterinarians and it must be scheduled annually.
HEALTHY NEW PET EXAM
$100
We're accepting new clients and pets! Book this type of appointment if we've never seen you or your pet before and you wish to start receiving care here. Note, this is for healthy patients.
Established client with a healthy new pet? Congratulations! This is the appointment you want!
EAR INFECTION CONCERN
$150
Like eye concerns, this appointment is $50 more than a regular office visit as we need to do ear swab cytology to see what's causing the issue and a level-1 ear cleaning to start treatment off on the right foot. These tests are discounted with this appointment type only. Additional charges for treatment and severe cases are possible, but we'll discuss that with an estimate first.
EYE CONCERNS
$150
This appointment type is for injured or abnormal eyes. The fee is $50 higher than for most other appointments as it includes all the basic testing needed to tell you what's going on with the eye and how to treat it. Eye pressure check, tear production testing, cornea staining and local anesthetic application included if needed. These tests are discounted when booked as this appointment type only. Additional charges for treatment and severe cases are possible, but we'll discuss that with an estimate first.
ILLNESS/URINARY
$150
Like ears and eyes, if you have urinary concerns for your animal, this booking option discounts the complete urinalysis so we can get that running ASAP. Bringing a fresh urine sample is helpful, but not required. Just remember to not let your animal urinate right before the appointment so we can collect a sample!
ILLNESS/GI
$100
Vomiting, diarrhea, GI worms, blood in the stool, and anything else related to the gastrointestinal tract should be booked with this type of appointment.
ILLNESS/OTHER
$100
If your concern has to do with none of the other options, or you just plain ol' don't know what's wrong with your pet, please feel welcome to select this appointment type.
SKIN/COAT
$100
If your concern has anything to do with the skin, from crusty, scaly, oily, itchy, oozy, lumpy, weird-y, gross-y, to lacerated-y, you want to pick this type of appointment with our vet.
NEUROLOGIC
$100
This one might be a little harder to pick, but if you have concerns of seizures, loss of balance, or head tilting or pressing, select this appointment type.
MUSCULOSKELETAL OR LAMENESS
$100
Limping, lameness, or anything related to bones and muscles "not working right" would best be booked with this appointment type.
EUTHANASIA
$135
When the unfortunate time comes to say goodbye to your pet, we can see you both with a Euthanasia consult appointment. It's a consult because we only perform euthanasia for pets with terminal disease or severe, unmanageable behavioral aggression and is a threat to their family or others. Most appointments proceed with the euthanasia after veterinary exam.
APPOINTMENT OPTIONS WITH OUR LICENSED VET TECH
Rechecks
$55
Our licensed vet technicians can handle recheck appointments if no different treatment is needed.
Vaccine Boosters
$35
These appointments are for boosters of a vaccine in a series (like puppy shots or new vaccine booster).
Bandage Changes
$55
If your first appointment with the vet required placing a bandage, our technician can change it during the course of therapy recommended by the veterinarian.
Pre-Surgery Labwork
$200
There is no exam fee for this appointment. The $200 deposit covers the cost of blood work required prior to a scheduled anesthesia appointment. Because this is paid in advance and at the time of service, the cost of the procedure on surgery day will be $200 lower than quoted on our "Surgical Services" page and not in-addition to that estimate.
ABOUT
OUR CLINIC
Dr. Kaylin Wells

Bless This Pet Vet Clinic is dedicated to providing high-quality preventive and maintenance care for animals in Central Washington as well as urgent care during regular business hours. With 10 years of mixed animal medical experience, Dr. Wells is hoping to offer this service to Kittitas Valley to allow faster access to care. Because we are not currently set up to take life-threatening emergencies (nor planning to do so anytime in the near future) if you believe your pet must be seen ASAP or it risks sudden death, then this is not a patient candidate for our facilities and we recommend you reach out to your primary veterinarian or the other state veterinary ER clinics. However, if you are an established client with your animal having been seen by us in the last 12 months, we can also offer virtual triage appointments for a nominal fee to help you determine if your animal's condition is emergent or not and likely also able to offer virtual recommendations to avoid a stressful in-person appointment if the condition seems manageable via the virtual format. We prioritize the well-being of your beloved animals and strive to ensure they receive the best care possible.
ABOUT
OUR DOCTOR
A full career so far, Dr. Wells has been practicing veterinary medicine since graduating from WSU in 2014. Originally practicing in Yakima, her career opportunities then took her to the west side in corporate veterinary medicine where she worked her way up from associate veterinarian to medical director in charge of 30 hospitals state-wide as well as running her own equine mobile practice. After leaving corporate medicine, she found a passion for veterinary nutrition as a Royal Canin Scientific Services Veterinarian, teaching nutrition content to the western US veterinary schools. When not in the clinic, she's either continuing her role with Royal Canin or with family on her ranch in Thorp, WA where she raises beef cattle, Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats, and English Labrador retrievers.
